Christian Academy
English speaking school/college situated in Shillong, North East India
Here's an exceptional opportunity to teach at an English speaking school in beautiful historic Shillong. The school has been operating for 25 years and assists with raising fees for underprivileged students. It is also ranked as one of the top 10 educational institutions in the state for its academic achievements.
Having approx 2500 students with approx 100 staff, it has no music teacher, which is unfortunate considering this beautiful part of India is reknowned for its music. International performers who come to India primarily perform in Shillong, known as India's music capital!
Volunteering complete, why not take the opportunity to explore this unique region and visit Kaziranga National Park to spot the one-horned rhino... or visit more of incredible India! Contact the Uplift team for more ideas!
