We explore the real country and meet the real people. And on each unique and innovative tour, we include the Uplift difference – visits to inspiring community projects relieving individuals and local communities out of poverty and assisting villages to become self-sustaining. On all group tours, apart from ‘must do’ sightseeing and cultural experiences, activities may include rafting, 4x4 wildlife safaris, caving, trekking, horse riding and elephant riding! All tours are escorted by a friendly and outgoing Australian Uplift host, plus knowledgeable local guides in each destination. Each tour is unique and is designed to be enjoyed, not endured! Often these experiences are life changing for the traveller.
*Funds are contributed to visited projects on each group tour. Accommodation on group tours is based on clean and comfortable 3-4* standard, unless otherwise stipulated.
