• 3½-star accommodation in Israel (if you’d prefer your own room, a single’s surcharge will apply)

About Karyn, your host from Australia

Karyn traveled to Israel for 2 months in 2008 to study Hebrew and share her love for the Jewish people. Following a very successful first Lion of Israel tour in 2011, Karyn will again host the 2012 Lion of Israel tour and has now created The Crossway Tour, a shorter tour aimed at young adults. Karyn has been married to Trevor since January 2004 and they have two cats, Picasso and Shakespeare.

Bethlehem where Christ was born; Nazareth Village, a reconstruction of Christ’s childhood village; Jordan River where Christ was baptised

Wed 17
Boat cruise on the Sea of Galilee on which Christ famously walked, ancient fishing boat from the time of Christ, Mount of Beatitudes where Christ gave the Sermon on the Mount, Capernaum where Christ taught in the synagogue, Bethsaida where Christ performed many miracles, Tiberias

Thu 18
Negev Desert, the wilderness where Christ was tempted; Masada, Herod’s desert fortress; En Gedi where David hid from the wrath of Saul; Dead Sea for a fun afternoon in the mineral-rich water

Free choice day in Jerusalem

Mount of Olives where Christ wept over Jerusalem; Temple Institute; Western Wall, the holiest site in Judaism; Western Wall Tunnels; City of David, including Hezekiah’s Tunnel and the Pool of Siloam where Christ performed a healing miracle
