The home was established to help the poor amongst the Dayak tribal people, both practically and spiritually. The focus is training young people in a holistic manner, and includes a children’s home, kindergarten, primary school, junior and senior high schools, library, computer suite, medical clinic, hospital and university. Alongside these, the home aims to become as self sufficient as possible and has vegetable and fruit gardens, a fish farm and a bakery. It is said that if you come to visit the home for a few days, you will want to stay longer!
